Fishing is fun in your own tank. Use a hook and line. It will work but you may need to catch a few other fish before getting the one you want. Use barbless hook (or pinch it closed) and very light line (2 pound). Bait with mysis or other gel-bound food. I've caught many fish on hook and line from my tanks. Also it's fun.
