Liquidskys and I have been arguing for sometime now on whether or not we are going to find out the sex of our baby. We thought about flipping a coin and a few other ways but we decided the fairest way would be to set up a poll. So what do you think? Should we find out what we are having or let it be a suprise. We already have 3 girls so One of us thinks finding out would be in our best intereast so that we don't bring a boy home in a dress. The other thinks it would be a nice suprise. What do you think?

i went to have my sugar test yesterday, only good thing... Got the whole day off work, that stuff tastes sooooo bad, like flat orange super sugary pop. I slammed it like it was a shot so i would have to taste it. Grosss, just warning anyone who hasnt had one yet, slam it, it makes it alot easier!

Man I forgot about that. Is that at 28 weeks?? Or was that because your protein levels were high?

I had it done 3 times w/ my last one. But I thiought it was only because I was having trouble w/ my bllod surgar levels I was hoping to get around it this time. I hate having to test 6 times a day and the shots suck
I don't think had to do that. It's been 5 years so it's all a little hazey. The only thing I remember is the heartburn (which I have even worse this time) and the labor. Not looking forward to that again. It wouldn't be so bad if I only had it for less than a day.

I thing I'm really worried about is making it to the hospital before the baby comes. Paige was born within a half our of my water being broke and I was less then 2 centimeters. I wouldn't even have time to make it to the hospital this time if that happen again . I was lucky that a doctor even made it into the room to catch her.

I went into labor Friday night around 8 and had her Sunday morning at 10:34. I'm not sure how I made it through it without any meds since I have had a tooth ache for the past couple of days and I can barely stand the pain from that.

I have a friend that swaers by rose hips. She said that made her go into labor each time. I guess you can get it a GNC. I am considering doing no eppy this time but only time will tell. I was told since I had the eppy last time and delivered about 10 min. latter that I didn't even get the full affect from it so I was thinking maybe I could wing it this time. If it wasn't for the bad pain in my leg I would do it for sure.
I dont think i would make it with out the eppy . I had kidney stones a couple years ago, and they said that pain was worse than child birth, and i was such a baby then. I told gary no video cameras in the room, cause i'll probally be crying and swearing the whole time . My best friend just emailed me and shes been having contractions since last night, and this morning bad ones woke her up, so hopefully today is her day! Shes 6 days over due todya, poor thing. Its bad enough we have to wait 9 months, but then add those last few days on top of it, it seems like an eternity she said. So hopefully i will be an "auntie" today!

I hope she has the baby today too. Anything over 38 weeks is too much for me. I just got put on bed rest today because of my back wich *****. I't hurts so much I want the eppy now.
O and I have to do that yucky sugar test too. This visit sucked. I have managed to deliver 2 kids and not scream or cry and he had me in tears today after messing w/ my back and trying to get the heart beat. I no longer like well checks

LOL staying in bed w/ 2 little ones never happens you know what I mean. I am supose to start thrarpy on my back but there booked for the next 3 weeks So I will just try to take it easy till then. I am still hoping to have the party soon as my friend gets moved into her new place so I will let you know when I know more.

Poor thing, now shes almost a week overdue . Shes got another appt thursday, and doc said if nothing by friday they will induce her. But i havent heard or gotten an email from her today, so she might be at the hospital right now. Hopefully . Told yah that sugar test was nasty crazy, lol they make you drink gross stuff, then you have to sit there for an hour, i had to pee so bad, and they wouldnt let me

Is this her first baby? Ya I remember the sugar test. I ended up having to do the 3 hour one last time. I am crossing my fingures I don't have to repeat that again
yeah its her first, and shes miserable now, i keep telling her only 2 more days for sure! A Lady at my work had to have the three hour test too, i hope i dont have to take that one either, i couldnt stand sitting there for one hour let alone 2 more on top of that . Hope you feeling better ladies !

Lucky for me my doctor does the 1 hour test in his office and I can get my office visit in at the same time. But when I had the 3 hour I had to due the beamount lab area. Which was a real pain in the A**. Since they had to butter fly my had to get blood . So I was walking around for 3 hours w/ my hand taped up.
That *****, i am sick of being poked at the doctors, when i went for my sugar test i told the doctor that she was the only one who could take my blood, cause last time i was there the blood chick poked me 4 times and still had nothin, they ended up making me go to the blood draw bank down the street, so no way was she ever touching me with a needle again.

Same here they can never get my blood but walking around a hospital w/ a needle in your arm for 3 hours was not cool at all it hurt like He**. I just hope I pass the test the first time. I just don't get why they make us do the test again if the results are bad. Just tell me and I will start doing the blood sugar test again at home and watch my levels and don't waste my time. It the same o stuff all the time and then they want you to go to a specail group to learn about how to take the test for 3 hours. Man this was a waste of time I could have read the box for the info they gave me.
Have you guys signed up for any birthing classes yet? I know you both have kids alreadys, but i didtn know if you had to take them again or what. I havent yet, and i was just wondering where i had to go to sign up for them, or how much they cost, cause we are broke right this second. My friend erin (who still hasnt had her baby yet) said they were a waste of time lol. This thread is my favortie thread i think on here, i am glad i have other expecting mothers who are due around the same time to talk too!
