In my 180 gal. tank i currently have a clown trigger, huma trigger, rectangular trigger, 3 blue damsels, domino damsel, pink pseudo, snowflake eel. Trying to figure out another fish that can hang with these, not another damsel. If you have any ideas let me no.

I would presume it's a fish only tank

if not the pour corals in that tank  I might vote for a Clarkie clown a lion fish and would end up in a fight with the triiggers. you want this thread in the aggresive area more then anything since that is what you have lol

I say lunare wrasse or a big gold stripe maroon clown. I have had both in an aggressive FOWLR and they were fine with the triggers. The Lunare is fun to watch, lots of personality but will harrass any new additions. Maybe even a spanish hogfish or a large foxface rabbit. Good Luck with your decision :)

I'd to second the spanish hog, I've really come to love those fish. Maybe a purple tang or a green bird wrasse?

trigger fish

I "thot" you could only have one Trigger per tank due to their dislike of their own in the same area. I have seen a 2-trigger tank in a magazine and the writer was surprised that someone even had those two in one tank, that they will fight and kill one another or both wind-up dead form their powerful "Jaws" !! and you have three??..so much too learn !

added a burrfish

yeah so i added a burrfish to my tank, yeah i have heard about the no keeping triggers together no problems at all a lilttle fighting here and there but nothing serious. dont believe everything the pet stores tell you.

I would have said "add nothing" .........

Your triggers are not mature they are juveniles, but as your fish mature you will be playing in a new field. These triggers need space, the larger the fish, the larger the territory. As your fish grow and the space required becomes smaller, they will make space. If it takes killing one fish at a time, that's what they will do.

Many people get away with over crowding juveniles, it is when they start maturing the problems can occur. Though I agree with "dont believe everything the pet stores tell you." being said, I would also have to agree with them saying not to add these together. It is possible they are looking out for you and your tank in the long run.
