The 2 most common species of black and white clowns found in the trade are Saddle Clowns and Ocellaris Clowns. My Saddle Clowns host in my Hadonni Carpet Anemone. My Ocellaris host in my Bubble Tip Anemone's. There is no guarantee that newly acquired clowns will host the anemone.

You may want to post what kind of anemone your son has.

I have a beautiful pair of ocellaris clowns, a male and female, That I would sell you. They eat anything you feed them and the female was hostind a lta in my tank till it got moved. The pair is fairly large, how big is his tank? I will sell them for $60 together.Or $30 each. The male is much smaller. He is about 3 inches.

Yes, they are I think, but not sure. They have black bodies, orange heads and fins, and yellow tails and white stripes.
