Don't worry though (if you even care, lol) I'm not getting out, my obsession has reached the pinnacle. I've only had my current tank setup for a little less than a year and I've been itching to upgrade. I've been wanting bigger fish and more of an open layout.
I've been looking into having a tank custom built from either AGE or miracles but the cost for just the tank is a lot compared to what the new system I'm looking at has.
To make a long story short, I found my dream setup for sale. It's expensive, and the only way I can get it is if I sell off my two current tanks and equipment. I plan on keeping about half of my corals and fish and a few pieces of equipment, other than that everything else has to go.
My only problem is I can't start selling things until I have commitment from people to buy the bigger portion of the items. Meaning I can't sell my lights or skimmer until the livestock is sold or transferred or until the tank is sold.
If I can sell the majority of what I'm thinking of selling, I will be making a journey across the country to go pick up a new setup. The new setup is the end all as far as I'm concerned. It's an Elos 160xl (200g rimless) with stand, sump, skimmer, ati powermodule 10x54 t5 light, and a few other items. Basically I wouldn't need any of my current equipment except for my powerheads, liverock/sand, and some coral and fish.
Do you guys think I have a problem, lol?
I'll probably make a post in the selling forum to gauge interest in the items. If you don't know my setups, they are a 150g marineland perfecto deep dimension cube, and a 60g cube. I have a good amount of money into these two tanks and I need to get a fair share back out. I'm hoping to sell most things to local guys but I'll ship stuff if I have to.
Thanks
Bryan
