PAR output for T5 bulbs? do actinics put anything out or just for color?

ah, see i never thought about length of bulb...

i think i will add the ati's this weekend and see the color and go from there. if it's not blue enough i will just add another fixture and link them together.

listed as LUX - it says 122 for their 18K bulb, 187 for the 6700, and 79 for the actinic... also lists lumens as 900, 1700, and 670 respectively.

these listings, if accurate and similar to PAR readings, makes me believe that a 24 watt bulb does push out about 40%-50% of a 54 watt bulb... which would make sense because of course the power put out is that much greater...

or am i completely off with what LUX and Par are?

lux is the metric reading of a lite wave,Par is decribed as reading of lumans cubed "ppf" to convert multiply the lux reading by .0131 for T5 and use .0141 for MH hope that helps

soooooo. the bulb with the 180 lux actually puts out 2.25 in par? i would need roughly 100 bulbs to grow sps?
