I have been keeping sps for a few mos now (some frags over a year). I have some digi some caps a few acros slimer ect simple stuff. everything is doing well. but i want to step it up a bit any suggestions on a mid level sps if there is even such a thing. tank has been running for years now im very strict on my param for this tank i just want to go forward any advise would be appreciated Tx Rick

If the ones that you have listed are all doing well and growing, I would say you should be able to keep just about any sps. I say find something you like and go for it. The ORA corals are nice looking and generally very hardy. They are also fairly widely available. ORA's Chip's acro is one of my favs. Nice coloration and very fuzzy. Blue stags are also pretty common and good growers. If you are into monties, you can't go wrong w/ a sunset monty. Birdsnests are also attractive and good growers.

named corals

you know i have always been on the fence about NAMED corlas... i the right conditions are given you can take a brown coral that you paid $30 for n turn it into something spectacular... it is true that propagated corals are much more likely to survive but imho it kinda takes the fun out of turning the coral yourself.. also if you want a great grower and nice color try milliapora. they car fairly easy to keep n in the right system you will get an inch a month

I second this. Although I have a bunch of other cool SPS i'm still a huge fan of the millis. They grow really well, love lots of light and flow. They are generally pretty hardy too which is a plus, and they come in a lot of different colors so you have options. Word to the wise though, give them their space, they have a nasty sting second to anemones IMO. Let them touch another coral and they'll probably kill it. Still, they can make for a very impressive piece.
