Hello Everyone..

It's time to vote on who you think has the best DIY Project according to
the rules listed below.

The contest will be based on design, usage, craftsmanship & accuracy with the HOW TO directions for another reefer to reproduce your project.
What we are looking for is any design or product that you have previously built or have plans to build. We ask that you use no manufactured parts such as professionally molded objects or self prepared items like pre-casts.Your product should be constructed of parts or supplies you can buy locally or easily obtainable. Home type tools are welcome such a saws, sanders and tools that one can purchase at your DIY store like Home Depot & Lowe's.We are looking for a product that actually works and is used in our hobby. We don't expect anyone by far to be a pro but to rather put some design thoughts into this contest.

Let's be fair on our vote and please do not vote on your own project as we will remove your vote and issue a violation.

Great ideas! I can see using the argrocrete project in the near future and its a great write up. I have to give the nod to the carbon reactor...hadn't seen that one before and could definitely use that instead of the bags I through in my sump, which are probably a lot less effective and a pain to fill/empty.

I have seen projects A & D many times, by many people. I thought projects B & C were more original. I had seen B before; on this site only. They were both creative pojects; I just find Project B to be a lot more appealing of a project. I'm ordering the stuff to do this. Go Project B!

I voted for "D" for one simple reason....COST!!! LR is such an unbelievably high priced item, and a project to offer you rock that can substitute for LR (minus the neat hitchhikers found in LR) at pennies on the dollar is great!!

Well done!

WINNER of The DIY Project

We have an official winner of the Michigan Reefers DIY Project.

The Winner is Ken (Mustang) with Project B "Magnet Aquarium Cleaner Project"

Lets all congratulate him..

I would like to also thank all the other contestants for submitting there great projects and excellent step-by-step plans, they are all great projects.

SWEET!!!:) :) :)
Thanks for all the votes
If you guys want to try it it might be good to do a group buy on the magnets as it cost me almost as much for shipping than the magnets actually cost
