I found this in the pre-filter on my skimmer in my sump. Is it a pest or is it OK? It's a little freaky as it just writhes back and forth with a lot of legs on the sides. It's head is a peachy color and it has a reddish tinge to it. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

The clear photograph is closest to the color of the worm. The other colors were taken to show the shape and legs. It was a little hard to photograph. Hope the pictures will help at all!

Thanks so much for the link! I'll read up on it. I've been looking at some other resources, but so many of the worms look the same - it's hard to tell.

Thanks everyone. The problem has been solved inadvertently; the cup in which I was holding the bugger was thrown away accidentally. Thanks to everyone who commented and if I see another one I will know what it is. Thanks again.
