The main display will be a 300gal,90gal fuge,150gal sump,3-30gal prop system,3-30breeders,3-50 breeders. You never know maybe next year a bigger display.

I didn't want to worry if my skimmer was big enough to handle my system or a future system. SPS need the best water we can give them and all our other marine family.

Bob, I'm fairly certain that you could find some reefers in your area and hook them to that skimmer as well and STILL have plenty of "extra" skimming ability

That is an amazing piece of work. I'm still up for the strobe lights and jacobs ladder though.

I think the skimmer in broke-in now, look at the pic of the neck now. The bubbles are really tiny now. I'll hook the wet neck up by the weekend.

Here's some pics of one days worth of skimmate. I know it may take a few more days for it to really break-in,but I'm really impressed with this skimmer.

Remember that's a 12" dia skimmer, so 3/4" of skimmate is a good amount. Especially since it's still breaking in.

Pat-I saw the doc last week and he said 3 more weeks with the ski boot cast and then he'll check again. Hopefully I'll be out of this thing and starting some therapy then.

This skimmer is producing over a gallon a day of skimmate. It's the nastiest stuff I've ever smelled. I think I'm going to turn it up a little and skim wet for a little while to see how much it'll produce and see if it's still nasty smelling.
