The Tropicorium and The Fish Guy sell the lace rock for $2 or less/lb. They have some great looking pieces. I am buying this rock now to supplement my live rock...don't have to worry about any hitchikers like mantis shrimp or aptasia, and after a month or two, it is "live" and completely covered in corraline, zoas or other corals.

Got it from Texas

We just got a shipment of Texas Holey Rock yesterday straight from Texas. Would do $3/lb for you and round down. Fish Drs Ypsi 734-434-1030,

Slate is non-porous < that's why it makes a nice counter top.....

I have slate in my 90..... I run it as a BB tank with large slate tiles that my LR sits on. You can get the large Tiles at Home Depot or call Genesee in Flint (they have other locations) & there is Dixie Cut Stone in Novi (they have other locations) they both carry quite a bit ........ If you need the numbers let me know I can get them for you.
