I believe this is a leather. I have had it 2 yrs it started as a small frag. As you can see it is overtaking the tank. It is on a 3 to 4 pound pc of totaly purple live rock with a zoo colony on the back side with about 30 to 40 polups. It is aroud 6 by 8 inches. What do you think a fair price would be.

with the greater part of my experance

it's worth what ever somebody is willing to pay for it, not a penny more untill they sell it and get more.. ;) sorry never ask SPS people what leathers are worth.:rolleyes:

Id call it $10/frag
I too would frag some pieces off and make some coin that you can in return buy other frags with..
and keep a chunk for yourself.. like was said wait a few months an do it again :p

personaly I think leathers should remain a "cheaper" frag.. simply because the grow fast and their great started corals..

Im in warren too.. let me know when frags are ready :D

Kinda interested in the whole thing... but, I know I can't afford it. I would think it's worth about $80

but all in all, I'm a frag buyer.

What do the zoas look like? I personally wouldn't take less than a hundred for it, the rock alone is worth $15, say $75 for the leather, and $30 for the zoos, so a hundred IMO is a good price.

And I wouldn't cut it up, it's a great showpiece, but that's just my .02
