Hello all,
I have been lurking around here for a while but have not posted here yet, so I thought I would show off my new tank and see if I could meet any local reefers. The tank is a used tank I bought from "eco reef" here a month ago. I cleaned it all up and replaced the stock pump with a mj1200 I am also planning on replacing the stock hood with the JBJ 150w MH upgrade hood. It also has a koralia nano in it as well. I needed a stand and did not like the stock one, and it was too expensive, so I built my own. I do not have any build pictures of it because as fellow Michiganders you know that it is ****ing cold outside and my camera would not work well out in the garage. There will be nothing in the back cambers at all, other than the heater and pump. I used expanding foam on the back wall for a more "realistic" look. I happened to have about 50lbs of LR and LS from my other tank that I had for a few years until I moved here last year and the movers broke it. So the rock and sand have just been sitting around drying out for a year, so I went to the LFS and got a cup of LS and a piece of LR. Well that is all I can think of right now so on to the pictures, thank you for looking and any comments.
More to come, on day 12 of cycle...
