Actually the electricity bill has gone down slightly from my older, smaller set-up. I had the same type and # of lights, but more powerheads in the tanks, a less economic return pump, and more heaters. With the acrylic tank, and plastic sump up off the basement floor, the temp stays up slight higher than I like without the use of any heaters at all.

Thanks, I like the KISS theory. My prior set-up was a CPR overflow with aqualifter pump, a couple powerheads, a undersized return pump, and too small a diameter of plumbing.

I made sure I learned from all of those issues and conquered them all.

As for more pics - it looks pretty much the same today as it did a month ago when I finished it. Tell me what you want to see and I'll take the pics :)
