A few were asking about my Hydnophora coral on another forum so I thought I'd post an updated pics here too
This one is from March when I switched to the 300g tank from the 180-ran out of room in the 180g

And heres one from today

It's about 2' wide now and sticks out about 15" from the back of the tank

I think it was about 6 or 6-1/2 years ago. We bought some zoos growing on a peice of coral skeleton. When the actinics came on there was this glowing green spot of flesh about the size of a pencil eraser on the skeleton. It's all grown from that!
Oh the Orange Digitata in the bottom left corner is about 13" tall for reference.

Yeah the Carpet anemone is on the other end, and several corals are getting pretty big now. The growth has been really good with the new tank.

Well it decided to attack the zoos on the branch rock beside it this morning so...
I like the shape alot better now!

Got it off in 1 huge and 1 small peice.

Yeah I like those zoos!
I just had to move another rock of paly's away from the front of it a few days ago. It was starting after them. Before long I'm gonna have to do a major hack job on it. I think I may try pulling the whole thing out then and using the wet saw to shape it better and get nice clean cuts. I think the canopy has to come off to get it out of the tank though-so maybe not.

Stole the wet saw idea from Frag Exchange. They were cutting up stuff with one at the MASM swap.

He didnt say much about it. He told me awhile back that it was up to me. I'm just gonna keep it back from the other corals.
I listed the big piece in the selling forums. It's about 5x7 and really nice.
