First let me thank all of you who have DTE for your utilities, you've done a great job of supporting my habit. But y'all making me nervous, I think I'm going to have to pick up the next man that crosses my and get pregnant

Income

Based on what everyone is saying our incomes seem to be irrelevant because the more money you have the more you spend on the tank. In the end some might have better tanks than others but we're all saving the same amount of money... $0.

 

hehe I found marrage will do that to ya. before marrage you got lots of $$ saved. after marrage you wonder where it all went.

I work in a professional setting and am a RN nurse manager. the person that the credentialing bodies come to when something is wrong.

This is someone who is working on the floor as a staff nurse who will be making almost as much as I am with none of the on call weekends, the midnight crisis, the daily staffing headaches, the patient care concerns that always come up, families, friends, long lost cousins with care concerns! not to mention the rest of my duties!

My head hurts every night when I leave!

My eyes almost popped out when I heard that. The bad thing is this nurse is making more than the rest of the nursing managment team with the exception of the director! and these are people who have between 4-11 years in!

I feel your pain. In addition to that, when I was a nurse manager, it was salary, so, if the nurses did an extra shift, their check came in wayyyy over mine. But I put in more hours.

looks like the 60K to 80K has taken teh lead!

on a positive note my fiancee just started a great job!

funny things hapen for strange reasons. I guess it took all this stuff happening over the last year to get me off my can and back to school so I can get a better job (less stress.... a little more money) so I can get into that 150K-200K bracket LOL

sure they do. I got my job way back when which was $5/hr more than I was making on the lines. I have wwwwaaayyyyyy less stress than those working on the lines. I work less OT than they do AND I have less stress .

hmm just looked and I dont know when I voted on this but im about 20 grand more this year than last year. I might have to change my vote lol.
