I have a few frags available. I don't think I will be able to make it to the swap thiw weekend, but here is what I would have brought or have available.

what you see is not what you get

Mark e-mailed me a picture of a acan showing just a portion that looked good. He said he would deliver it with some other zoas that I also purchased. When he got here I just put the acan in the fuge still in the bag he brought . After about 40 min I took it out to put it in the D.T. finding that it was in bad shape. I paid top dollar for it. Very disappointed that you can't trust a fellow reefer.

What you see is not what you get

I have bought numerous items from Jeff with great success as have a lot of other Reefers. He has a 100% feedback score and has an excellent tank and reputation. He wouldn't have that by cheating members. I don't consider him a friend nor do I owe him anything I just think that this is what's wrong with this forum. Instead of talking to him, (I'm sure he would have fixed any problem) you take to slamming him on here. I have seen members try to undercut others as well as try jumping forums. I'm sure the moderator will pull this post but everyone who reads it before then will agree with me. I think it cowardly.

Great corals at great prices. I got a nice frag pack a few months ago. Both sps frags and zoos have doubled in size and colors are unreal. Thanks again turtle. Great reefer

Phil,
I am sorry you are so disappointed in the deal I gave you.

You got a rainbow acan colony of about 20 heads for $50 and 7 polyps of utter chaos for $150 - $200 for both pieces.
I will return the 20 head Rainbow Acan colony but you must also return 7 Utter Chaos you bought for $200 total. (the utter chaos were worth that alone) You said that you would be giving the rest to your son.

Both were in excellent condition and I have pictures.

I should have listened to my friends an not dealt with you.

I delivered them because you showed up at my house unannounced and scared my wife, badly when you wanted her to let you in after she told you I was not home.

I will not sell to you again.

Theres about a dozen on the acan in which some are dying. and not as many heads on the rest of the stuff that you stated. You said the acan was 100. When I stopped by your house all I did was ask for you. I then called you later and applogized for stopping by but only did because I was in the neighborhood. You said not to worry about it. I am just a hobbist and not a coral dealer. I spent 400 on you plus whatever I spent the previous time I was at your house. You know your not telling the truth. I know you have alot of friends and are trying to make yourself look good and me the bad guy. You should be ashamed!

Not sure what order this deal happened, but if barth bashed Mark here before discussing this with him, that is lame. I have traded and bought stuff from Mark several times and have never had a problem that we could not work out. All it takes is a message ora phone call. Sounds like he is willing to refund your money for the corals back, can't ask for more than that. I don't know of any LFS that has a 100% money back guarantee but you were offered one! If you are that disappointed get your money back.

barth, you seem to be fairly new to reefing, at least on this forum, it really is in your best interest to try to resolve your issues first, without publicly calling out people on the forum. Especially when the seller has a great reputation and positive feedback from dozens of members over the past several years. We all tend to deal with or interact with each other over time and the more positive contacts you can make the more beneficial it will wind up being for you.

I have visited Mark several times over the past year and bought dozens of corals from him. I think he is very fair on his prices and all corals were healthy and I haven't lost a single one. Anyone who reads these threads knows Mark has a great reputation on here. I hope no one will take one persons opinion of a situation to heart when judging someone. Ill continue to visit Mark from time to time without hesitation. I recommend him to everyone

Work it out.

Phil I don't think you're a bad guy - but you should contact Mark privately and work it out. I don't think that everyone is Mark's friend it just that they including myself have a great experiences with him. As a result of his integrity great prices and passion for the hobby later friends. Making friends in the hobby makes it more of a hobby

This is a small community and we are here to enjoy the hobby. When you called me and wanted to come over you wanted Acans, I told you I had a few but was mainly a SPS guy. You seemed slightly perturbed when you were at my house then bought the few acans I had.

Be respectful, work it out with the person and do your research and due diligence in advance!

I discounted those both by $50 for a package price. I took a picture of that acan the morning that you bought it. I still have the pic and email on my phone.
You don't even want a refund now that it is three weeks later and the acan is dying.

You are a liar.

I don't need to make you look bad, you have already done that.

I am closing this post. I don't need the problems. I'll just take this stuff to my friends or the LFS from now on.
